The Negative & Positive Concept

Many secondary students are working on the concept of Negative and Positive Numbers. Visuals will assist them in making the concept more concrete and understandable. They may appreciate a “Walkable Number Line” where they can walk between the printed numbers (walking left for negatives and right for positives) and if space does not allow for that large of a Number Line, then perhaps “let their fingers do the walking” on a small table-top version!
